Phase 1: A Springboard for Scale-Up

The Puma Energy Foundation is supporting Amend to build our capacity to deliver safety training to motorcycle taxi riders. As part of this project, we will update our existing motorcycle training program and strengthen the skills of our team through certification with the Motorcycle Safety Institute of Africa.

We will provide training to around 1,000 motorcycle riders in Malawi and Zambia.

This is Phase 1 of what is planned to be a multi-phase project, with the intention to scale up the training in future years, and to undertake a scientific evaluation to understand the impact of the training program in terms of reduction of crashes, injuries and fatalities.
